Calls for ‘kids-free flights’ after child’s flashing glow-in-the-dark onesie goes viral

The father has been criticized for not doing anything about it.

People are desperate for kids-free flights after this video of a child on a commercial flight went viral.

In the video, the child can be seen wearing a glow-in-the-dark, flashing rabbit onesie, and it’s sending the internet into a tizzy.

It doesn’t sound all that bad in itself, but the flashing costume was lighting up the cabin while everyone was trying to sleep and the kid’s father did nothing about it.

After the video was first shared online, it went viral, with personalities like James Jefferson jumping in to give their (fairly strong) opinions.

“If you don’t know how to control your kids, they should be flying under the plane with the animals, right next to a chihuahua,” he said.

Most people agreed with him too.

“If the parent refuses to take that off the child then the child is going to learn the truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy all in under six minutes,” one said.

“Parents need to be told that the whole world doesn’t have to tolerate their children.

“This is why we need the option for a no-kids flight when booking.”

Another argued the flashing bunny suit was so overwhelming it even posed a health risk.

“It may cause an epileptic to have seizures, so it’s not cute. Educate yourself and your kids. The world doesn’t revolve around you,” they said.

People complaining about kids on board commercial flights isn’t new.

It’s been at the center of debate since, well, the beginning of commercial flights.

And now, one airline appears to have listened and is taking action.

Turkish-owned Corendon Airlines has reportedly set aside an adults-only section of the plane onboard its flights.

Kids-free flights with the adults-only section will be at the front of the plane and costs 45 euro extra.

That might sound pricey, but some people (i.e. those not a fan of flashing bunny suits) will no doubt be throwing their money at the opportunity.
