Elon Musk is lowering the price of brand-new Teslas.

After lowering prices on the Model 3 and the Model Y, Tesla is now also slashing prices for the Model S and the Model X.

And the new ā€˜discountā€™ is quite generous.

This is no surprise as Tesla cuts prices of their cars on a regular basis.

The 320-mile Standard Range Tesla Model S now starts at $78,490, which means it is nearly $11,000 cheaper than it was last week.

The same applies to the 269-mile Standard Range Tesla Model X, which is now priced at $88,490.

And again thatā€™s $11,000 less than before too.

If your pockets are deep enough and 300-odd miles of range isnā€™t good enough, you can always opt for the Model S Plaid.

The range-topping tri-motor Model S Plaid starts at $108,490.

It does 0 to 60 mph in just 1.99 seconds and in terms of range, youā€™re looking at 396 miles on a charge.

Teslaā€™s line-up currently consists of four cars plus the Semi truck, with the Model 3 being the cheapest car available and Model X being the most expensive.

Only the Model 3 is currently eligible for the $7,500 tax credit.

As you can imagine, there still is no sign of the Cybertruck, and no mention of pricing either.

Also, thereā€™s no sign of the new Roadster.

Tesla began selling cars in the late 2000s, and the first car they made was a Lotus Elise-based convertible called the Roadster.

Back in 2018, Tesla unveiled a prototype for what would become the second-generation Roadster.

The car made headlines after a video showcasing its astounding acceleration went viral.

And shortly thereafter, Jay Leno drove it on episode of Jay Lenoā€™s Garage.

After that we sort of forgot all about it, mostly because Tesla began hyping the Cybertruck instead.

During the 2023 shareholderā€™s meeting, Elon Musk said the company expects to unveil the production-ready Tesla Roadster in 2024.

We wouldnā€™t hold our breath, though.
