Leaked footage from the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas shows the Cybertruck up against a Ford F-150 Raptor and a Jeep Gladiator.

The footage was just taken by a drone hovering above the Gigafactory and gives us our best size comparison yet.

In the footage, posted to YouTube by Brad Sloan, we see the EV driving from the south end of the Gigafactory over to a charging station.

On the way, it passes a bunch of other vehicles believed to be owned by workers at the factory.

Some eagle-eyed X users noticed the comparison too:

The footage comes just days after the Tesla EV was spotted parked next to a Ford F-250

The photo showed the two cars side by side, measuring almost identically.

After the image was posted to the Tesla Cybertruck group on Facebook, it proved to stamp out a few ‘myths’ about the long-awaited EV.

“Whatever happened to ‘you can fit an F-150 in the bed of a Cybertruck’? The wild stories we were once told!” one guy said.

The photo ignited some debate too, with Facebook users disagreeing about what they could gather from the comparison.

“It’s hilarious to me that people think the bed on the Cybertruck is small when it’s simply an optical illusion. The Cybertruck bed is 6ft plus,” one said.

“The Cybertruck has much more room because it doesn’t need to have a motor in the front. Also, it has a great approach angle for off-roading,” another said.

“The Tesla might be a tad shorter. There’s a massive amount of room inside the Ford SD crew cab, I’m anticipating the Cybertruck cab to be more the size of an F150,” said a third.

Comparisons between the Tesla pickup truck and Ford pickup trucks like the F-150 and F-250 have been rife in recent weeks.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Ford CEO Jim Farley have only been fanning the flames too.

There’s no question the two men subscribe to the same marketing tactic, and it appears to be working.
