This clip will blow your mind, because it shows what a Toyota pick-up truck can do, even when it’s old.

The video was filmed in Saudi Arabia, and shows a 20-year-old Toyota Hilux pick-up truck driving up a massive vertical sandbank like it’s nothing.

The clip was shared to Instagram by HLX_2700, a Toyota Hilux enthusiast and owner.

The driver of the Hilux aims for the sandbank, driving at full speed, and never stops accelerating until he gets to the top.

After reaching the top of the vertical sandbank, he simply drives back down again.

As you can see from the video, the truck never slows down and it never looks like it’s about to get stuck.

The driver obviously had full confidence.

It’s mighty impressive, but to be honest we probably shouldn’t be surprised.

The Hilux is one of the best off-roading vehicles in the world.

The driver, HLX_2700, certainly loves them because he owns a variety of Toyota trucks, all sporting the same white livery with red and gold decals.

About the Toyota Hilux

The current model, the eight-gen Hilux, was unveiled in 2015 and it is available as both a 2-door and a 4-door truck.

In terms of powertrain, you’ve got several options, including a long list of diesel engines and a 235-horsepower 4.0-liter gas engine.

Back in 2019, Toyota said they would launch an all-electric Hilux by 2025.

The first electric prototype, dubbed ‘HiLux’, was unveiled last year.
