Some people think the footage is so unbelievable that it was created by CGI.

Tesla Cybertruck u-turn

The Cybertruck is probably North America’s biggest stalking victim right now.

Everywhere it goes, there are eagle-eyed fans with their phones out capturing its every move.

Now, the Tesla pickup truck has been filmed doing a U-Turn in a tight suburban cul-de-sac, and even that’s going viral on X.

Posted to YouTube by mignoramus, the videographer follows the Cybertruck as it cruises along a busy highway in Santa Clara, California.

The videographer then follows it closely as it makes a bunch of turns through suburban streets, before finding itself at a dead-end.

It’s the next part of the footage that made its way to X and has since gone viral.

The Cybertruck driver makes a tight left u-turn in the cul-de-sac, showing off the truck’s turning radius.

And for a truck this big, it’s actually pretty impressive.

One viewer even described it as “Alien technology”.

“That rear wheel steer is going to be a lifesaver for that big vehicle in some of these suburbs,” another said.

Some even thought the footage looked so unrealistic it must have been created by CGI.

“This has to be CGI,” one man said.

“It looks so fake. CGI in real life,” another said.

The Cybertruck’s turning circle is proving to be one of the most anticipated features of the EV.

Last month, separate footage of the Cybertruck doing a U-Turn was described as “gangster”

“Never seen a vehicle of this size do this so nimbly!” Raj said.

The video went viral, amassing 760,000 views and more than 2,500 likes.

“Incredible how easy and smooth that seems,” one guy said.

“Four-wheel steering in action! This will also make parking in the garage easier!” another said.

The final specs and pricing are expected to be revealed at Tesla’s delivery event, but we don’t have a date for that yet.

Nor do we have an official release date for the truck.

Or a price.

Inside the underwater base scientists plan to build where researchers will live for weeks https://supercarblondie.com/underwater-base-sentinel/ Tue, 05 Sep 2023 15:03:10 +0000 https://supercarblondie.com/?p=58954

It looks like a five-star hotel.

A company called DEEP is planning to build an underwater base where researchers could live for weeks.

And don’t be tricked into thinking this is just another soulless base, either.

The interior of the underwater base actually looks like it belongs to a luxury hotel.

The underwater base would be built roughly 660 feet (200 meters) underwater, and it would be located off the coast of Wales in the UK.

DEEP actually gave the base a name – they call it the ‘Sentinel’.

The Sentinel would serve as an exploratory base where scientists could study marine and creatures that live 200 meters below the surface.

The multi-story base would reserve one level to living accommodation for scientists that live there.

Each ‘room’ features a single bed with storage built in to the frame, a small side table, and a private bathroom with a shower and sink.

You know how airplane bathrooms sometimes look like they were carved from a single block of plastic?

Same basic idea, but more spacious and more comfortable.

Another level would be devoted to the kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with portholes through which you can admire the sea floor.

Lastly, there’s another level that’s dedicated to work.

This is where the magic, apologies we mean science, happens.

DEEP says the atmosphere of the base is designed for researchers but it is also ready for one-day visits from media professionals and academics without diving qualifications.

Obviously, due to factors relating to sunlight, oxygen and underwater pressure, the maximum amount of time anyone is allowed to live there would be 28 days.

After 28 days, the entire crew would go back to the surface, and they would be replaced by a different group of scientists for another 28 days.

Rinse and repeat.

This guy makes 8 figures a year making sandwiches https://supercarblondie.com/italian-businessman-sandwiches-lambo-antico-vinaio/ Tue, 05 Sep 2023 14:07:48 +0000 https://supercarblondie.com/?p=58943 italian businessman, feature image

Those sandwiches must be phenomenal.

This Italian businessman makes eight figures a year making sandwiches.

It all started with one sandwich shop, and now he’s expanded the business with a bunch of new locations, including two in the United States.

It sounds like one of those ‘American Dream’ stories, except it happened in Italy.

His name is Tommaso Mazzanti and his sandwich shop is called ‘All’Antico Vinaio‘.

What started out as a small sandwich shop in the center of Florence has now ballooned into a multi-million dollar business.

In addition to six shops in his native Italy, there’s one in New York City and another in Los Angeles.

And there’s no crazy secret behind it, he’s literally just making sandwiches.

Sure, Mazzanti is definitely on top of his game when it comes to marketing but still, it’s all about those sandwiches.

Revenue-wise, the business generates eight figures each year.

“We did $25 million in 2022. This year, with the US market, we’re projecting around $43 million”, Mazzanti said in a podcast.

Mazzanti bought a Lamborghini Urus SUV to celebrate the opening of the US locations and had it customized with a crazy neon yellow wrap courtesy of Evosound Custom.

As standard, the Lamborghini Urus starts at around $235,000.

And you probably need to add a few thousand dollars on top of that for the wrap and the new wheels.

Can’t go wrong with a fluorescent wrap on a Lambo, can you?

Speaking to Supercarblondie.com, Mazzanti said the Urus was probably a one-off present to himself because he planned to invest every dollar he could in his sandwiches.

“[The Lamborghini Urus] was a bit of a treat, but apart than that, every dollar goes back into the business,” he said.

Fishtailing Mustang skillfully avoids McLaren

This Mustang driver has managed to skillfully regain control of their car after fishtailing on a wet highway.

The footage, which was captured on DashCam, shows the driver surrounded by cars, including a McLaren, when they lose control.

And the next couple of seconds make for some pretty wild footage.

The Mustang suddenly veers into the lane to its left, almost driving head-first into the McLaren.

Luckily, the driver of the McLaren reacted quickly and swerved out of the way.

To avoid hitting the supercar, the Mustang driver then pulled the wheel to the right, sending the car flying in the opposite direction.

And in a stroke of good luck, there were no cars to his right when he veered over.

The Mustang remains out of shot for a second or two, and the driver who captured the footage on their DashCam slows down to give them some more room.

When it reappears, the Mustang driver regains control super quickly and manages to blend back in with the normal speed of traffic.

Considering how busy the highway was, and the cost of the McLaren to their left, this situation could have ended very differently.

In fact, the driver’s ability to regain control of the fishtailing car and save it from damage was pretty impressive.

The video by BeastCheng garnered quite a bit of attention when it was posted to Reddit, with people questioning how the driver got themselves into that situation to begin with.

“What exactly is causing the car to spin? Too hard on the throttle?” one viewer asked.

You can watch the crazy footage here!

“Too hard on the throttle, too cold of tires, one or the other, or a combo of both,” someone suggested.

Another weighed in, saying “I assume traction control must be off. But still, such a sudden and violent loss of grip.”

“Jesus, it broke traction at that speed? That thing must need new tires,” said another.

One viewer was just shocked the Mustang driver made it out of the situation without any damage or injury.

“Luckiest man alive,” they said.
