This is the famous Invisible House, an architectural masterpiece in the middle of the Californian desert. 

Not only is it made out of mirrors, but it has an indoor swimming pool that takes up about 50 percent of the usable space.

In the middle of Joshua Tree National Park in California, this house was built by the Hollywood producer of American Psycho, Chris Hanley. 

He designed it to be covered in mirrors so it reflected the surrounding desert landscape. 

The intention behind this was to create the illusion that the house wasn’t even there.

Inside, the Invisible House is filled with completely bespoke furniture. 

It was all customized to complement the sleek, futuristic look of the house. 

In Sergi’s words, it looks “just like an alien house”, and he’s got a point.

When you walk in, you’re greeted by a 100-foot indoor pool, which covers nearly 50 percent of the 220-foot-long house. 

And while the house is incredibly long and somewhat narrow, it feels huge because the one-way mirrors appear as windows from the inside. 

As a result, every room in the house is bathed in sunlight. 

While it claims to be invisible, this three-bedroom house isn’t exactly a well-kept secret. 

The home has played host to a number of celebrities, with some even using it as a set for their music videos. 

Among them are Alicia Keys, Demi Lovato, and the Chainsmokers. 

You can rent it too, but you’ll need deep pockets. 

The Invisible House can be rented for between $3000 and $5000 per night, depending on the season. 

And as Sergi says in the video, it’s right in the middle of ‘alien country’. 

Yep, Joshua Tree apparently draws thousands of international visitors each year who gather in search of UFOs. 

So, if that’s your thing, this is the place to be. 

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was robbed of his $500,000 Richard Mille watch hours after his podium finish at the Italian GP.

Fortunately for the 29-year-old driver, he still had his racing boots on and chased the robbers on foot.

It all happened outside the Armani Hotel in Milan.

Sainz was on his way back to the hotel after the Italian GP at Monza when three men accosted him.

The three men mugged him at knifepoint, and they made away with a Richard Mille timepiece worth half a million dollars.

Or at least they thought they did.

With the help of a passerby, Sainz chased the robbers, got his watch back and had the perpertrators arrested.

Even though the story has a happy ending, there may be a pattern here and it’s a bit worrying.

The same exact thing happened to Charles Leclerc and McLaren driver Lando Norris.

Both drivers were robbed of their watch, and both times the watch in question was a Richard Mille.

In fact, Norris has been robbed twice.

Once outside Wembley during Euro 2020 and then again this summer in Marbella.

As for Leclerc, his watch was snatched when he was on holiday with friends in the Italian town of Viareggio.

The watch resurfaced on the black market a few months later, where it sold for nearly half its price.

Speaking of his day at the track, Sainz said he was happy with the podium.

“It was a great weekend all along and to be able to celebrate a podium with the Tifosi (Italian supporters, ed.) is the perfect icing on the cake,” Sainz said.

The Italian GP was once again a one-sided affair with Red Bull Racing cannibalizing the podium with a one-two finish.

Max Verstappen won his tenth GP in a row, beating his teammate Sergio Pérez by nine seconds.

Carlos Sainz completed the podium with a third-place finish, narrowly beating his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc.

The next Formula One race, the Singapore Grand Prix, is scheduled for September 17.

Life’s looking pretty good for Neymar Jr in Saudi Arabia.

He signed a two-year deal with Al-Hilal worth $100 million per year, with the contract also coming with a bunch of crazy perks.

Apparently, one of those sweeteners is getting a mansion with all the staff Neymar could possibly want.

Let’s face it, nobody’s going to turn down that offer.

The question is, though, will Neymar move into a pad that’s already built, or will the 31-year-old star forward design his own?

Well, one designer’s had a go at creating it for him, with a set of incredible renders popping up on Instagram.

The AI-generated customized house for Neymar imagines what his future mansion will look like, and it’s impressive to say the least.

A multi-level mansion, it has white washed walls and roofs topped with green and golden domes.

The exterior of the property also features waterways lined with palm trees, and more than enough lounging space to soak up the sun.

The same colors feature heavily on the interior of the property, too, with the floors covered in green tiles and furnishings finished in gold fabric.

Huge chandeliers hang from the ceilings, and several of the living spaces include indoor swimming pools.

It may only be a concept house, but it’s likely not far off what the player will actually be living in, as apparently he’s got expensive taste.

Allegedly, he’s demanded a 25-bedroom mansion with three saunas, a pool that’s 10m wide and 40m long, and a fleet of high-end cars.

Not only that, but he also wants five full-time workers in the house, including a sous chef to assist her personal chef from Brazil, and two people for cleaning work.

Oh, and he wants the fridge to be stocked with his favorite drink, Acai juice, and Guarana drinks for his friends and family.

Doesn’t ask for much, does he?

This alien-shaped watch is known as the HM9 Sapphire Vision and it’s made by MB&F, an independent watchmaker from Switzerland.

As you can see, MB&F loves throwing convention to the wind, and we love it for that.

The first question you might be asking is, how exactly does one use this watch to tell time?

Bittersweet news on that front, because while the watch does have a ‘normal’ dial with traditional hands and hour markers, it is a lot smaller than usual.

It’s also not where you’d expect it to be.

The dial is located on the side of the watch, rather than on its face.

This type of watch is something called a driving watch.

They call it that because the idea is you’re supposed to be able to tell time by looking at it sideways while your hands are on the steering wheel.

With the exception of the solid gold frame and the gold crown at the top, the entire watch is made from transparent sapphire crystal, giving you the chance to admire the ultra-complicated movement.

It’s available in yellow gold with a green movement, but if that’s not your cup of tea, you can opt for the blue PVD one with a white gold frame.

The watch isn’t for everyone, for a couple of reasons.

The first is the shape.

It’s unique and unorthodox, almost like the head of an alien.

The second reason is this alien-shaped watch costs more than most supercars.

You might want to sit down for this, because it costs $490,000.

For that money, you can buy a Lamborghini Urus… twice.

Porsche is now selling a wildly expensive sim racing wheel.

Called the 911 GT3 Cup, it’s a limited edition and it doesn’t come cheap. 

In fact, this thing is about as far from cheap as you could imagine.

Sim racing is a serious sport, and racers are always looking for ways to upscale their rigs. 

And this, Porsche says, is the best of the best. 

Limited to only 150 units, it’s been modified to hook up to almost any rig. 

It’s made with ultra-light carbon fiber and was only slightly modified for gaming purposes. 

In fact, it’s almost identical to a genuine Porsche 911 GT3 Cup steering wheel.

Sim racing, as you might have gathered, is not a cheap hobby. 

Hardware can set you back tens of thousands of dollars. 

So, at $10,475, the Porsche wheel isn’t the most expensive bit of hardware available.

But it is the most expensive wheel.

Before this, the $1,500 Fanatec BMW M4 GT3 wheel held that title.

When the $10,475 Porsche sim racing wheel first hit the scene, it received mixed reviews. 

“It looks cheap,” one Reddit user said. 

Others shared the same sentiment. 

“It looks like one of those kids’ toy steering wheels. I actually thought it was a knockoff, no name Chinese wheel when I first saw it.” 

“At first I thought it was an ugly project from the ‘90s, but then realized it’s real. Can someone call the design police?” 

“It definitely looks weird. The bottom is not needed to be so big and low.” 

That’s pretty brutal feedback for something that’s promoted (and priced) as the best of the best.

This is the new Rolls-Royce Amethyst Droptail, the second of four Droptail models after the La Rose Noire that was unveiled last week.

Just like the La Rose Noire, the Amethyst comes with a ‘free’ watch included in the car.

And it’s fantastically expensive.

All Rolls-Royce models are fitted with a dashboard clock.

They are always made by Swiss brands and are sometimes detachable to be worn on the wrist as well.

The La Rose Noire, for example, features a dashboard clock made by Audemars Piguet, the brand that makes the ultra popular Royal Oak.

Meanwhile, the timepiece you’ll find in the dashboard of the Rolls-Royce Amethyst is made by Vacheron Constantin, one of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world.

Vacheron Constantin is a serious watchmaker.

It was founded in 1755, nearly 250 years ago.

Vacheron and Rolls-Royce came together to give the timepiece a name that’s just as fancy as the car.

It’s called the ‘Les Cabinotiers Armillary Tourbillon’.

As the name suggest, it’s a tourbillon timepiece, which is just about the most complicated kind of watch that exists.

If you’re not happy keeping the clock in the car and would rather show it to your house guests, you can remove it from the car and place it on a special custom case.

The Amethyst is a one-off, like the other three Droptails, and all four have already been sold to collectors.

Each Droptail costs between $25 million and $30 million.

And each dashboard clock / watch is equally expensive.

Just like the car, the Les Cabinotiers Armillary Tourbillon is a pièce unique (watch jargon for one-off) created for this car.

Its value is estimated at around $150,000 – $200,000.

You can buy a decent supercar for that kind of money.

Lionel Messi lives in a $5 million penthouse in Miami and most of us would call that ‘good enough’.

Mind you, Miami-based architect Jose Veliz thinks he can do better, and has designed a crazy $50 million mansion specifically for the star.

Dubbed Messi Mansion in Miami, the conceptual architectural project takes inspiration from Lionel Messi’s logo.

The iconic ‘M’ shape is clearly visible from the sky, proudly displayed on the roof of the three-story mansion, and it defines the shape of the entire house.

The ‘Messi Mansion’ has five swimming pools in total, a soccer pitch, a tennis court, three helipads and a large dock for Messi’s yachts.

It also features a sizable car garage and a beautiful garden on the rooftop.

This being Miami, the mansion is adorned with palm trees.

Inside, you’ve got game rooms, a party room, and a home theater.

Lionel Messi is having a tremendous impact in the US after joining David Beckham’s Inter Miami.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner helped Inter Miami win their first-ever title, scoring 10 goals in eight games.

Inter Miami’s value has skyrocketed since Messi joined.

David Beckham bought Inter Miami for ‘just’ $25 million just a few years ago, and the club is now valued at around $700 million.

A high-flyer has just revealed what it’s like to travel with one of the world’s most exclusive first-class tickets – Etihad’s The Residence.

Immanuel, who describes himself as a full-time travel hacker, just gave us a detailed tour of his first-class seat on board an Etihad A380. 

And well, the word ‘seat’ doesn’t exactly do it justice.

This ticket gives you your own little apartment in the air. 

It has a private lounge for two, with its own dining table, and bar. 

And in the words of Immanuel, “wait until you see this enclosed double bedroom”. 

The Belgian, who lives in Australia, then takes us from the lounge to his private bedroom, and it doesn’t disappoint.

It’s a full-size bed, so you don’t have to contort your body into any weird shapes to get comfortable. 

The suite also comes with a private bathroom, which Immanuel takes us through with champagne in hand. 

“And yes, there’s also a shower with 10 minutes of hot water to enjoy,” he says. 

While he doesn’t reveal how much he paid for the ticket, Etihad’s ‘The Residence’ can cost anywhere between $15,000 and $48,000 depending on your route.

Immanuel doesn’t always gate-keep the price of his travel, in fact, his whole TikTok page is dedicated to flight hacks. 

Immanuel has traveled first-class with almost every airline you can imagine, explaining how he got thousands of dollars off the base price. 

“I paid just $437 to fly Qatar Airways first class from London to Doha… a flight usually sold for more than $10,000,” he said. 

“Here’s how you can do the same.”

He said it all came down to miles and points (which isn’t surprising really) but said the miles you choose really matter.

He urged people to shop around to find the best deal before buying miles with just any airline.

He used his Qatar Airways flight as an example. 

“While you can use 89,800 Qantas points or 87,000 Asia miles, the better option would be to use 78,000 Velocity frequent flyer points,” he said. 

This is Billionaires’ Row in New York City, famous for having the largest concentration of luxury homes in the US.

Located around the southern end of Central Park in Manhattan, the area comprises some of the tallest skyscrapers in the Western Hemisphere.

There’s only one minor issue; they’re mostly empty.

There are a few reasons behind Billionaires’ Row’s commercial failure.

First, unlike other similar areas in the country, this isn’t a gated community.

There are no gates to get in and out of the area, and some would-be residents believe this may create a practical problem.

It also highlights a moral conundrum.

When real estate channel B1M shared a YouTube video about Billionaires’ Row, viewers took to the comment section to address the elephant in the room.

“I remember walking along the edge of Central Park. People sleeping on the benches in the shadows of these empty apartments. The stark contrast in humanity,” one user said.

“The engineering that goes into these buildings is fascinating, but the societal side of things is definitely troubling,” another said.

The second and perhaps most important reason why these buildings are empty comes down to their price.

With an average price of $80 million per unit, some of these apartments are out of reach even for seven- or eight-figure celebrities.

And normally that’s the type of customer that buys an expensive home to live in.

By contrast, these outlandish penthouses are usually bought by billionaires who simply want to enrich their real estate portfolio with a fancy property in New York City.

They don’t buy them to use them, and even when they’re willing to rent them out, they generally set the price too high.

There’s another semi-hidden reason why they’re so expensive.

Developers on Billionaire’s Row spent years acquiring… the air rights for the properties around their lots.

They did it to ensure nearby buildings couldn’t block their newly built views of Central Park.

And yet in spite of the crazy prices, these buildings are of subpar quality, according to owners.

A class-auction lawsuit launched by residents at 432 Park Avenue, a 96-floor skyscraper, cites over 1,500 defects.

Among other things, the families that live in the building complained about sways, floods and malfunctioning lifts.

That’s not a good look.

If you spend eight figures on a penthouse, the very least you can hope for is a lift that actually takes you there.

Al-Hilal has just flown Neymar Jr to Saudi Arabia in the world’s most expensive private jet. 

Neymar da Silva Santos Junior just joined the Riyadh-based team, signing a two-year contract worth millions of dollars. 

And that contract, which comes with a laundry list of perks and bonuses, is already paying off.

Footage emerged at the weekend showing Neymar Jr boarding the $200 million private jet in Paris en route to Saudi Arabia. 

The plane is owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and will reportedly be made available to the star footballer during the length of his contract with Al-Hilal. 

Because it’s owned by royalty, this jet is of course fit for royalty too. 

Called the Flying Palace, the Boeing 747 was heavily customized to have lounge rooms, dining rooms, and even bedrooms with full-size beds on board.

Not only will he have access to the Flying Palace, but the star forward will also be enjoying a bunch of crazy perks on top of his $100 million annual base salary.

The 31-year-old Brazilian will be moving into his own mansion in Riyadh, which comes with private, live-in staff. 

He’s also in line for huge bonuses for his talents on the field, and his social media use. 

Neymar Jr will reportedly make a $87,000 (€80,000) bonus for every Al-Hilal win and a $545,000 (€500,000) for every post or story he creates on social media that promotes Saudi Arabia. 

His move to Saudi Arabia follows a six-year stint with Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar Jr’s move to Saudi follows Cristiano Ronaldo’s highly publicized move from Manchester United to Saudi’s Al-Nassr. 

His contract with the Saudi side is so wild it almost makes Neymar Jr’s look like an afterthought. 

Ronaldo signed on with Al-Nassr for a reported $220 million (€200 million) per season. 

The deal saw Ronaldo become the highest-paid soccer player in the history of the sport.
