Elon Musk appears to be having some fun playing dress-ups with his new toy.

New footage shows the Tesla Cybertruck cruising around San Francisco wrapped like a Toyota Tundra.

The video, which was posted to X by TheCruiseCtrlr, shows the Cybertruck wearing the dark green wrap with Toyota Tundra markings including a grille and handles.

The footage is now going viral online.

It comes after the EV was spotted in a hilarious Ford F150 vinyl wrap

When the images were first leaked, X users assumed it was Elon Musk taking a swipe at Ford.

“Perhaps one of the best trolling tactics since the word trolling was a thing,” one guy said.

“Bravo to Tesla and Elon Musk. Elon, we know you were behind this.”

And people wouldn’t be crazy for thinking there was some “masterclass trolling” behind the stunt.

The rivalry between Tesla and Ford has been boiling over in recent weeks, with the CEO of both companies taking aim at oneanother.

With the Tesla Cybertruck expected to be major competition for Ford’s pickup trucks, Ford CEO Jim Farley said he wasn’t threatened in the slightest.

Farely described the Tesla Cybertruck as more of a “cool high-end product parked in front of a hotel”.

“I don’t make trucks like that… I make trucks for real people who do real work, and that’s a different kind of truck,” he said.

That wasn’t the beginning of the rivalry either.

Remember when Musk orchestrated a video of the Cybertruck in a tug-of-war with the Ford F-150

In the video, the Cybertruck appeared to have no trouble pulling the F-150 up a hill in a show of power.

But Musk didn’t get the reaction he wanted.

Instead of praising the Cybertruck for its performance, viewers took a shot at the video, describing it as “not a valid test”.

“All-wheel-drive verse two-wheel-drive. Uphill vs downhill. Big meaty tires with higher friction coefficient vs skinny stock tires,” one viewer said.

“You showed literally zero difference in the vehicles’ performance.”
